So
Odaka is Smile Pet Taxi Representative. Born in Buenos
Aires, Argentina, to Japanese parents, Odaka got his first dog shortly after his
family returned to Japan when he was just three. His mother had taken him and
his two brothers to the local bakery where he encountered a lovely Shiba Inu dog.
They decided to bring her home and raise her.
His
second dog was a newborn puppy he secretly accepted from the local fishmongers and
brought home without his parents’ permission- an act that got him in a bit of trouble
when he was discovered!
He
rescued his third dog from a roadside, where the puppy had been abandoned.
From
his earliest childhood, Odaka developed a deep love for animals, a passion that
continues to this day. For over half his life, he has lived with a variety of animals,
including dogs, birds, hamsters, golden fish, medaka fish and turtles.
His
passion for animals, combined with his love for driving inspired his dream of
founding a pet specialized transportation company in Japan, providing safe and
stress-free travel across the country for pet owners and their beloved companions.
Odaka
has successfully earned the following professional certifications and
credentials issued the JAPAN KENNEL CLUB (JKC) and the JAPAN SOCIETY FOR ANIMAL
SPECIALTY EDUCATION (SAE).

Bibi
is the Vice President and Public Relations Representative of Smile Pet Taxi. He
was born in September 2011 in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.
His
name comes from the Japanese word Bibiru (ビビる), which means “to get startled with shy”, reflecting
his tendency to be a little reserved at first. Bibi is a lovable, laid-back chihuahua
whose charm has won him the hearts and trust of customers, both in Japan and abroad.
His
hobbies include sleeping and being petted, while he dislikes exercise, dieting
and paperwork. After being appointed Vice President of Smile Pet Taxi in
October 2020, he expected his food and treats to increase. Unfortunately, he
now gets smaller portions as he is on a diet.
Sonia
oversees the International Department at Smile Pet Taxi. Born and raised in
Europe, she moved to Tokyo after graduating from university. In addition to
Japan, she has lived in South America for over a decade.
Sonia
knows firsthand what it is like to travel and live abroad with animals. She has
crossed borders in five countries across three continents with her beloved Cocker
Spaniel, Joy, and mixed-breed dog, Sofia (who now shines as a star in Heaven).
Sonia’s
experiences with her beloved dogs have deepened her love and compassion for
pets everywhere. You will feel relaxed and fully understood beyond words.

our rides are crate -and kennel- free, fully
customized and designed for your pet´s comfort. No matter your pet´s size,
you are welcome to ride together! Just share your plans with us and we will
take care of the rest!

spacious, comfortable vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and air
purifiers to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable ride for you and your pets.
